Group Reporting (Financial Accountant)


The Advisor – Group Reporting is responsible for preparing the externally audited and consolidated financial accounts and the monthly financial reporting for senior management in order to receive an unqualified audit report.

The post holder will also be responsible for reviewing and analysing information from the general ledger to check for accuracy and completeness, taking corrective action if necessary to ensure users can rely on and make decisions based on the financial information contained therein. 

The post holder will be expected to provide a consistent and robust monthly financial reporting for review at senior management meetings in a clear and easy to understand format. The post holder will also prepare/provide comment on new accounting policies, procedures and controls, to ensure they are both in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP) and also workable in practice. 

The post holder will also be expected to complete compliance testing and quality assurance of accounting processes and working papers that support and underpin financial reporting accounts in order to receive an unqualified audit report.
