Manager - Trust Administration


Our client is an independent Trust company providing a boutique service focused on the wishes of their clients delivering solution based structures. The purpose of this role is to provide management of the team of trust administrators and to provide administration of a portfolio of private client trusts and companies. 

Accountability - Manager:

  • Staff management of administration team

  • Oversee and address staff performance issues in conjunction with Directors

  • Develop and assist with training issues for junior administration staff

Accountability - Administrator:

  • Preparation of Trust and Company minutes

  • Perform periodic client reviews

  • Adherence to company procedures and local regulatory requirements

  • Provision of bookkeeping details to accounts team

  • Review of trust and company accounts

Knowledge & Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience working in a private client trust and company environment

  • ACIS or STEP qualified, or working towards qualification (or equivalent)

  • Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping principles

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel (intermediate level)

  • Up to date knowledge of and adherence to local regulatory requirements and in particular the requirements of the JFSC AML Handbook

  • Knowledge of tax issues associated with offshore structures and ability to administer structures in accordance with tax advice
